Dan of DC Outdoors

Dan, the host of DC Outdoors on YouTube joins the show to talk all things camping, hunting, fishing and raising kids in the outdoors.

Dan and I met through social media and have developed a hilariously good friendship despite never speaking in person before this episode. We both laughed before we started recording at how much fun it has been to get to know each other through our various channels on social.

I’ve long admired Dan’s ability to post a new video every week, on topics like shed hunting, ice fishing, camping in all sorts of various forms and how to keep your kids involved.

He’s done episodes on cooking wild game, military ration reviews and building shelters with minimalist materials and supplies.

I’m honored to call such a competent outdoorsmen my friend and look forward to meeting up in person someday not to far into the future either in Canada or maybe the Northern United States.
