Valley View RV Resort Review

Valley View RV Resort is located just 28 minutes north of Salt Lake City in the town of Layton Utah. The resort was opened in 2022 and features 130 full hook up sites, and lots and lots of premium resort amenities.

We booked our stay about two weeks in advance for a 10 day stop, in late May, early June. Prices at that time were in the 50+ per night range depending on your site length.

The clubhouse offers meeting and dining spaces, along with couches, big screen TV's, ping pong and pool tables, a kitchen area and a fitness center. Additionally, there are two pickle ball courts, a large gas fire feature and a large playground for children.

The dog park they have planned wasn't fenced in at the time of this review but I expect it to be completed soon. The club house also has 6 individual shower/bathrooms and a small laundry room with 4-6 washers and dryers. There is also a second shower/bathroom house in the middle of the large loop, providing an additional 6 showers/bathrooms and a second laundry facility. In June of 2023, prices were in the $50+ range which is reasonable for the services the resort provides.

It should be noted that there is an Air Force base extremely close by...like down the road...so you are going to have some jet traffic overhead, which can cause some considerable noise. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Valley View RV Park and would absolutely recommend it for anything looking for a full service, high amenity park for your stop in Salk Lake City Utah.
